A refined identity and website for a new brand writing studio

Shaping the voice and vision of Opening Line’s brand and website

As newcomers to the branding world, Opening Line wanted an identity that would help them build trust and recognition. We developed a look and feel that emphasises the creativity and craft that goes into their work, positioning the studio as personable experts in their field.

A vibrant blue colour palette is paired with distinctive typography and graphic styling. Editorial illustrations commissioned from Nishant Choksi bring his trademark humour and wit to the brand, helping to communicate some of the abstract concepts in the studio’s messaging. The hand-drawn quality of the illustrative suite is then carried through to the website, where a bespoke line device follows visitors down the page whilst framing the content in an elegant manner.
