Electrolight

Lighting design leaders Electrolight needed an elevated digital presence to showcase their impressive output. We partnered with them to evolve their visual identity and realise it in a website that stands the test of time.

With a wonderful portfolio to showcase, we opted for a simplified site structure to really immerse users in the work itself and increase dwell time. We also optimised the primary logo by stripping it back to its essence, making it more suitable for display on the site (and everywhere else).

Allowing the work to set the tone

We developed an average colour detector which identifies the dominant colour in an image and applies it as a loading device. As such, it’s not a defined brand colour palette which sets the tone, but the brand’s own work that lights the way.

Coupled with a hard-working grid which caters for images of various orientations, the result is a timeless, easy-to-use website for both the Electrolight team and their clients.
